I somewhat agree. The movie as a whole was very exiting, but the ending was pretty slow and I couldn't figure out why they put that last line by Yoda in there, about him teaching Obi-Wan that new thing, I won't say it because I don't wan't to spoil it for those who haven't seen it, even though it really doesn't matter. But it didn't make sense why they put it in, it was irrelevant to the story line. Altogether, though, it was a good movie and I highly recommend watching it (even though the guy that played Anakin is a horrible actor).

They were trying to explain how Obi-Wan talked to Luke in Episodes 4 and 5, even though he was "dead".

I honestly didn't expect much so I was entertained and pleasantly surprised. I even cried, though I'm not sure that counts because I was PMSing when I saw it.

I like how the series concluded. On seeing the original trilogy, it's just a story about rebels restoring freedom to the galaxy from an evil emperor. On seeing all six together and how they work as a whole, the series is actually a Greek tragedy.

slightly overrated but George Lucus really did well.

I liked the way it tied in with the very first ones at the end. The way they even got the costumes set up in the same way (grey, nazi-like ones) as in the first ones was a good touch. It was fairly balanced in combat and showed the breakdown of Anakin really well because he didn't join the dark side in a snap decision. Really good, I thought.

I thought it was pretty good, not as good as the old ones, but better than episode 1 and 2. I found it quite funny when anakin had his nervous breakdown, but when he was lying there without legs half-dead, i found it pretty sad. Poor Anakin :rolleyes:

That's cool. I din't notice that before. I'll have to see the movie again to see that. I never really could make out his face when I saw it. Are you talking about the Special edition movies? Because those are the only ones I own. (VHS, not DVD).

The praise this movie has gotten is revolting. There's no fucking way it was better than the last one. And that's not meant as a compliment for Attack of the Clones.

For Christ's sake people, Luca$ had THREE movies to set this up and it was still horribly rushed.

the ending was retarded. the fact that leia in episode 6 says she has memories of her natural mother from a young age, except they killer her off o_O she must have been real fucking young.

and i hope your not reffering to "omg anakin is vader?! who coulda seen that coming?!". ive seen and heard that from so many people lately that it makes me feel bad in my pants =[

every person who didnt already know that connection subconciously kills a small puppy somewhere in the world...

other than that, my only real gripe, is that they revolved the story of the prequals too much around anakin. in the origionals, it wasnt always about luke. it was about the whole gang, and their struggle. whereas the new trilogy is all centered around 1 person. kinda killed the mood for me.


oh, and the fact that george fuckhole lucas decided to rape the origional trilogy somewhat so that the new ones fit, is really really fucked up. im half expecting him to remake them from scratch, with old ben being played by ewen mcgregor in 20 years time, and finding a stunt double to get him flipping around the deathstar wreaking havock amongst the storm troopers. only to find vader cartwheeling down the corridor to meet him in a battle of epic proportions, destroying half the hangar, with amazing feats of aerodynamics and intestinal fortutude the likes of which are rarely seen @_@.

oh. and if you havent read maddox review. hes right. special effects arent special when they are used in every scene >_>.

Well, he wasn't ALL good before he did that. You have to consider the whole process of him getting fed up with the Jedi and being seduced into joining the Dark Side. That process already started in part II. It's not as if he started killing everyone out of the blue.
