Anyone ever suffer from this?

Not really. I tend to avoid too much sun (around noon) like the living hell. My skin's totally pale so I get a sunburn real easily which hurts like a bitch and then disappears in a few days without even leaving a tan. My last sunburn was exactly a year ago when I was playing miss photographer while some German TV was shooting some kiddie show. Ack, a few hours in the heat I won't forget.

It never happened to me. Unlike The Goddess, my skin is not pale and I can go outside during a long time before getting a sunburn.

Happens to me more than I'd like, and it's a bitch and a half. Are you suffering from it right now?

I never suffered from it, but on Saturday my friend had the brilliant idea of going for a run at noon after working out. I haven't been running regularly in years anyway and the two dudes I went with did track in high school. We went a mile (half a mile for me) then did stadiums (running up bleacher seats - really fucking exhausting). I got in five before I collapsed, puked and collapsed some more.
Good times.

I'm kinda suffering mild sunstroke since sunday evening. Bad headache, hot and then cold, loss of appetite, generally feeling awful.

damn I got that since saturday... Well in a small form *lucky me*...
I have slightly darker skin so it's not so bad for me. I get iot on my scalp and back easily as they are pale, but my face and arms are more tanned so don't suffer from it.
I've nver been sunburnt in my life.
I used to play a lot of cricket so you used to slap the sunblock on and wear a properly rounded hat.
I do love doing cardio in the heat tho, you sweat like crazy and it feels so much better.

Even though the local gym has fans, I still sweat bucketloads in the weather when doing cardio. I find it quite uncomfortable actually... until a cool breeze blows and cools me down.
Na you're a pussy. It's awesome in the heat. You like collapse at the end.
Yea, I know that feeling.... I tend to have that feeling more after using the goddamn rower, haha.

yup. :)
as a matter of fact, it's important to drink water this time of year (for the northern hemisphere :p ) reguardless if you're gonna be out in the sun or not.

Yeah!! water is very good indeed

I doubt a lot of people will understand that ;)
It's a newspaper article about a student getting unwell when he forced to drink 6 litres of water in short period of time when joining a faternity.

Oh right. I have heard before that too much water isn't necessarily a good thing.

Your sexy Aussie arse in ice cold European winter, please. Then you Aussies will know what 'cold' means just like we have no idea what real 'heat' is.

It can hit 50 here. English tourists die alla time.

But of course we do. This time of year it gets up to 110F in the sun. Sure that's not ambient temp but it's hot. Whereas in Winter those hot countries never get low as us.
