the english patient. i walked half way through, i don't think i could have stood much more sloppy gross romance with refrences to World War 2.

You're pathetic.

Recently I've been watching Scent of a Woman, Boondock Saints, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and Say Anything a lot.

I'm not pathetic. I just saw it last week.
Yes, that would make you pathetic.

Mr. and Mrs. Smith was pretty good. There are so many other good movies out now, though, so don't bother.

so you mean your gay. If you don't watch porn then you should die.
I walked into that one. I don't brag about watching it, and you're pathetic either way.

The Notebook & Napoleon Dynamite.

Oh, and Mean Girls, though the previous two are better.

(And I know I'm late but those two only came out on video/DVD in Finland so it wasn't my fault.)

Napolean Dynamite is horrible, sorry Vera.

Not horrible, just horribly overrated.

You know, it's so-and-so. It's like in that awful grey area because some moments are downright hilarious and during some parts of the movie I'm just sitting there, wondering when it'd end.

I'm still glad I watched it.

I guess we can't all have emaculate tastes in movies, right?

Guess we all can't spell immaculate, right?

Lame nitpicking aside, it is over-rated but it ain't all bad. It's just a film that divides audiences a lot.

Ooh, I finally saw Star Wars III - Revenge Of The Sith today and oh my god, that movie's awesome. Plus Hayden Christensen is hot. =P

Isolated Fury

It's not exactly a new movie, but Equilibrium deserves mention in this thread. It's quite possibly the best movie ever.

I can't remember the last thing I saw at the movies. It was so long ago. I think it may have been The Core.

Seriously.

Anyway, the last one I saw on DVD waaas.. X-Men 2, I think?

You just convinced me to buy the dvd version of the mini-series that I saw at Best Buy the other day for $30. Be back in like 45 minutes!

I watched Elephant for the 2nd time last night. It was alright. I liked it better the first time. Other movies I've seen recently:

Rear Window - good
True Romance - entertaining
Blade Runner - awesome
Gattaca - stupid, yet ok
Clear And Present Danger - kickass

The funniest thing about that post was he said "Enjoy BBS Hell". As if him trawling around with me everywhere was going to drive me insane.

Oh, and by the way, he stopped when Isolated Fury hinted he may be losing respect for him.

oh come on, equilibrium is a poor rehash of brave new world, which itself was a rather poor novel.

The end of saw was so WACK! ( In a good way ) The killer was in the room the whole time. It also makes you beleive its 3 other people which made the movie even more interesting. And when the guy cuts his leg off, That was awsome.

All those endless hours you wasted online, gone forever because I narced you out. That's gotta hurt.
