The who. Definitly. Theyre both great though, too bad pete smashed that guitar agianst that amp and blew his ears out :o

personally i like the doors better. their music is kicks a**. besides i love jim morrison's hair.

Well your talking about 2 totally different bands here. The Who are more of the fast paced rock n roll style with Roger Daughtry on vocals and guitar. The Doors were slower paced hippie rock,plus they played alot of lounge music. The Who smashed guitars,basses,and drum sets. The Doors didn't even smash flies. The Who have "My Generation". The Doors have "Light My Fire" now The Doors did have some fast ones like "Gloria" but Jim didn't have the exact greatest vocals to do a rock song. It was really more of a blues song by the way he sung it. Basicly my conclusion is:

The Who= Fast paced microphone swingin,guitar slingin,drum set destroying fun.

The Doors=Moderate/slow,loungin in the cafe sippin on a mocha,sunglasses in the lights.

My decision on a better band=WHO GIVES A FLYING FUCK. Both are great bands.

i never said they were similair, i was comparing them because the are two of the most inspirational bands.

The Doors for me, Jims (we're on first name terms) whole take on life was great. Musically i'd have to hear more of the who but i don't think they'd manage to sway me. Doors are in my top 3 bands ever. easy

yah jimmy is a legend, but the rock-business wares you down....kills yah young....yup......whole lotta ware and tare.

But it's pointless, because it's only opinion, and therefore totally unfounded.

Even trying to compare two other 'greats' from the same genre, like The Clash and Sex Pistols for example, is futile as they are two very different styles of punk.

*Sighs* Stop with the comparison threads.
