...a guitar (preferably Ibanez) with:
25.5" scale or less;
At least 22 frets;
HH or HSH pickup setup;
Basswood body;
Under $500;
Good for Offspring-style music.
Other than the Ibanez Noodle Signature NDM1, of course.

Would you prefer a guitar with a floyd or a standard bridge?

You could get a used rg570 on ebay for maybe $400. The rg570 is basicly the same guitar dexter used to use.

Cheaper than 400 used on ebay, man. More like 350 tops with a case.

I really never use the trem, so it doesn't matter to me. If there are cheaper models without the trem, though, I would prefer them.

Oh yeah; and my mom won't le tm ejoin EBay.

Do you know what guitar dexter uses now?

It's a custom. It's similar to the discontinued rg421 and the 2002-2004 rg321.

Every second person that comes onto this forum says "what guitar does dexter use i want it now!" or something to that extent.

I believe the Ibanez web-sited did once say it was a Custom RG570. In other words, an RG570 but hardtail.

He uses hardtail versions of RG570/RG1570 which don't exist, which is why his are customs past the paint jobs. He has a very nice one that isn't a custom, can't remember what it is though. He hardly ever uses it.

I think he used to use an rg570 with a trem before which is why it says that. Now he uses one with a hardtail which is extremely similar to the rg421 but without the single coil.

No, not even his Taz guitar (the root beer/green one) is a floating trem. That was his first custom, if I rememeber correctly. I don't remember him using an Ibanez before that one.

I could almost swear I've seen him use a custom rg570 with a floating trem. I'll see if I could find any pics.

Nvm, I couldn't find anything so you'll probably right. Eitherway, dexter's guitar is closer to the rg421 than the rg570 since the rg421 is the only japanese hardtail rg.
