I've seen it. I didn't understand it very well either, so I asked one of my friends (who I saw it with) and he said something about destiny and shit. :/

yes that kinda makes sense...the destiny bit is right
I like the bit were Grandma death says 'everyone on this earth dies alone' because its so true and nobody realises it

I don't remember much from the movie except it was a tad pretentious and overrated. But I don't remember the ending being particularly difficult to understand. Perhaps you're stupid.

Ehh...it tries a bit hard. Still lots of fun, though.
David Lynch is a master. His films are not about "getting" some grand hidden meaning--the meaning comes from the emotions evoked by the various fucked up things he puts on screen. He's a visceral director, not a cerebral one.

There's nothing to work out, time travel makes no sense and never will. Good movies only use it as a device to tell the real story (Back to the Future, for example) while shit-fests like Donnie Darko actually think such a ridiculous idea is interesting itself (w00t, alliteration!).
It's not.

When I think of David Lynch, I think of Dune. I love that movie. Now that's worth the time spent watching it.

You can start by putting a question mark at the end of your questions, thanx.

Tell that to his stupid pretentious legion of fans. Or better yet, when you hear them talking about a movie and they say "It really makes you think", reply with "Think what?". I guarantee nobody will ever have a satisfactory answer.
And Dush, read the fucking English thread I made and learn fucking English.
