XBXRX - Sixth in Sixes
Lightning Bolt - Hypermagic Mountain
Annabel Lee Murders - Violence is the New Sex
Some Girls - The DNA Will Have Its Say
Ex-Models - Chrome Panthers
Locust - Safety Second, Body Last
Phone Tap Noir - Riprhymers, Moonshiners, and Most Unholy Synthisizers
Plot to Blow Up the Eiffel Tower - Love in the Fascist Brothel
Pitch Black - This is the Modern Sound
Kill the Lights - Vada Mori

all in all it's been a slow year, and some of those albums normally would never have hit a top ten list, but the top three or five are truly excellent.

Blrrrrgh, I can't even muster up 10 for this year yet. Here's what I've got so far:

The Evens - s/t
Cave In - Perfect Pitch Black
Bear Vs. Shark - Terrorhawk
Spoon - Gimme Fiction
Pelican - The Fire In Our Throats Will Beckon The Thaw.

In conclusion, I suck at listening to music. Wasn't Darker My Love supposed to come out with something new this year? Oh well, what the hell.

Awesome I can't wait for the Lightning Bolt album to arrive, I wish overseas post took less than 5 days (or more depending when they sent it out).

The only cd I can think of that came out this year that still gets rotation in my cd player is Big D and the Kids Table's new cd How it Goes. I don't know many bands that aren't well known because, as BREAK put it, I suck. Or as I like to put it, I don't take much part in the local scene and no one in my general area listens to music that isn't mainstream. Basically, I don't know many bands that aren't well known and neither do people that I know. How did you find out about bands that aren't well known? Because I'm damn sure it's a lot better than the stuff I hear between the radio and my shittastic launchcast.

The only cds I have from 2005 are

System Of A Down - Mezmerize
The Mars Volta - Frances The Mute
Turbonegro - Party Animals

That's all. I might have a few more, but I can't remember right now. I'll be sure to check out those others though.

Listen to college radio. Read zines & ezines. Go on messageboards. Go to allmusic.com. There's a lot of ways.

#1. Cuff the Duke - S/T !!!!!!

I don't even have it yet but it's on it's way... and I know it's gonna be good from the songs I've listened to:

The New Pornographers - Twin Cinema

I think I'm still stuck on 2004 music... don't have time to listen to enough...

I'm kinda ashamed to admit my favorite album of '05. But here it is.......... Hawthorne Heights: The Silence In Black And White. I like every single song on the album. But it's not the most original, and thats what makes me ashamed to be supporting a band that sound awfully similar to other great emo bands such as Thursday and Taking Back Sunday.

My Lightning Bolt finally arrived on Thursday. I magiced it's way into a double 12" from the CD I ordered somewhow. But it's cool I didn't pay enough attention to notice that the vinyl is blue when I ordered (though why would I when I ordered a CD?)

I haven't enjoyed many albums this year, really. The only ones I enjoyed a lot were the new album by Dragonforce (the name escapes me now) and an album called The Happy Fun Time Sunshine Smile Brigade, by a local band called Xylophiliac.

It's Endy's top 10. His favorite 10 albums this year. We can't really suggest anything, unless he forgot something.
