This is the Avenged Sevenfold thread. Avenged Sevenfold is a new Rock band. They are screamo with metal and fast riffs. They kick ass. If u get the chance to see them, go. I saw them at warped tour 05 and they were awesome. I'm also seeing them in November. What do U think of em?

they arent very new. they have been around for atleast 5 years. there new album is incredible.

o ya and to call them screamo is not accurate and insulting for the band.

Well, I just downloaded a few of thier songs. I liked Unholy confessions and bun it down, but not the other one I downloaded.

Chapter Four and Seize The Day are my personaly favorites. Warmness On The Soul and I Won't See You Tonight pt. 1 are awesome too.

They ain't new. They've been around for five years, but they do rock very very much. I love the song Beast And The Harlot.

Oh, and Beast And The Harlot is gonna be the next single. Yay! My favorite A7X song is gonna be EVERYONE'S favorite!

It is? That's cool. I always thought Burn it Down would be the next single, because they have a live video on the website, along with Bat Country (live and real video).

Burn It Down was the first single. It wasn't shown on MTV, though. Just Fuse.

ive listened too them for like maybe one year, bought a warped dvd they where on, and i was blown away. and then i bought nhl06 and playing it and cranking batcountry alldaylong!:D

I've listened to quite a lot of songs and they all sound the same and I just hate them all, so I highly doubt they'll grow on me. :p

Have you heard Beast And The Harlot? That's the song that turned me into a fan of their's... Check that one out and see if you like it. It has amazing drumming!

City of Evil is their best album, but Waking The Fallen is pretty damn good too. Sounding The Seventh Trumpet is ok.

I have done and to be quite honest it's terrible and why should I settle for A7X for amazing drumming when I can listen to amazing drumming from metal bands like Machine Head, Slayer, Fear Factory, Napalm Death, Cannibal Corpse etc.

I've only heard Bat Country, and I love it, but I'm afraid listening to other songs of theirs will ruin my impression of them. So I won't. *sticks out tongue without using that fucking smiley*

If you liked Bat Country, you should also hear Beast and the Harlot and Burn it Down. In my opinion, those two songs are better.

Edit: You also might want to listen to MIA. It's good, but it doesn't sound like Bat Country, and it's almost 9 minutes long.

in my opinion, the whole album of City Of Evil is solid. It's great.

The Wicked End is my favorite song by them. If I'm thinking of the right one, I love the little guitar riff that plays throughout the song.
