Do any of you guys like The Smashing Pumpkins? I do, even though they're gone (I think). I like the songs Tonight, Tonight and 1979.

They are my favorite band.

Boring, is The Offspring. In comparison to the Pumpkins, the offspring are bland garbage and repititive themes.

The Pumpkins broke up 5 years ago. Then Zwan was made, with Corgan and Chamberlain, and two others, they made on album, which is pretty good, and then broke up in '3 I think. Or '04.

Billy Corgan just released his solo album. It's really good, I highly recommend it. Even though the bastard isn't touring Copenhagen.

James Iha made a solo album, but it's terrible. He plays guitar in A Perfect Circle though.

Jimmy Chamberlain also recently released a solo album, which is actually quite good.

Corgan made a publicity stunt where he asked the Pumpkins to get back together. His site also contains his blog and his autobiography.

Yeah I used to really love the Smashing Pumpkins.

Saw Billy Corgan tour his solo album recently, and there were all these pricks cussing electronic music, it was quite a high tension show

i think they are pretty good. although the singer completley diessed the offspring at a show once! that faggot

Yeah, I like the pumpkins. Of course I hate billy corgan though. Fuck that prick... but hey, maybe it's good that he's a prick... nah... fuck that prick.

The Smashing Pumpkins were great. Bullet With Butterfly Wings is my favorite by them.

I don't really have a favourite band but if I had to pick one it'd be a close tie between the Pumpkins and David Bowie. I love them lots and discovered them pretty late. I think it could have been 2001 when one of my friends forgot Adore in our room after a party. And it wasn't even his CD. So gradually I totally got into them.

Bowie is in a league of his own. I think his music is really good when you put it in the background and try and work. Bowie is good yes. Adore is a classic though.

They're just one commercial crap who tries just a little bit too hard. The singer got the most boring voice ever, Dexter's FAR more enerhetic and intersting to listen to. Next band -->

They released their last album for free. The last album the Offspring released was a greatest hits album, with only one new song. Something bands do, when they want cash without having to write more songs.

The Pumpkins are just class. Siamese Dream is beautiful... I Love Adore as well...is such an under rated album

Bullet With Butterfly Wings is one of my favorite songs of all time, but I would'nt say the Smashing Pumpkins are better than the Offspring, because at least half of their songs are crap.
