It's like a tube thing you can hold in you hand it usally has rice in it. i think some group used them they belived it would bring rain if they shook them. It might of been native americans

The noise at the ending of nothing from something is a rainstick. They are tubes with nails inside of them and rice or something like that, and when you turn it upside down, the rice hits all the nails and makes a sound like falling rain.
