Wheelchairman, Hammerfall are a *great* power-metal band. Amazing.

I know they have a lot of cynics hating them these days, they're "too mainstream" or they "sold out" or whatever, but that doesn't change the fact they're great at what they do.

And in terms of technical musicianship, in their genre they're second to none.

Cheesy, not too innovative or "different", but great nonetheless. They get a little stale after a while, most songs sounding similar: but hell, so do Bad Religion. ;) They're Gods.

The thing is, Hammerfall sounds exactly the same from CD to CD. I expect bands to expand and evolve, Bad Religion has a very different feel from CD to CD, over the years. Hammerfall, just doesn't have that artistic merit.

From the most known bands probably Nightwish, but the best ones in my eyes are some Finnish bands that you don't know. Nightwish are still great though, Holopainen is a great song writer, their songs are not the most easiest to do.

You can borrow cds at the library? That's so cool.... Yet stupid, since a lot of people probably do like you and copy them.

Oh, and who ever mentioned Ace of Base, I heard they're doing a comeback.

he said scandinavian countreys ,couse if he would have said nordic countreys it would have been stupid ,cause everyone would say some finnish band ,couse there are the pest bands like Apulanta,Him,Nightwish,Children of Bodom,Stratovarius,Sonata arctica,Teräsbetoni,Don huonot and many more.......


MEw sucks badly, Abba is cool... but the best in scandinavia is the sounds from sweden.
