i remember reading in kerrang a few weeks back that iron miden were getting $180,000 for ozfest! not sure what it was for though! e.g the whole tour, while the headlined etc.! the offspring wouldnt get that much but i doubt they would be paid peanuts!

Well...I know they do get paid better than a regular worker!!!No doubt about that...but Dexter get more money of cource cause he writes almost all the songs and does the lyrics too. But they do have money!!Just think if they have sold over 32 million albums. If the band would only get 50 cents to share for 4 from every album sold...every one would get 4 million. And more money from live gigs and from other stuff.

Yep...I know tour incomes goes equally(almost atleast). That's what I meant...I think Dexter gets more money from the albums....I'm almost positive about that!

The albums say all the songs are written by "The Offspring" so unless Dexter alone owns the rights to the name, they might all get the same amount of money for the songs. I'm not sure though if that's how it works.
