It may just be me (and I know it's something pretty insignificant) but does anyone else really like Greg K's backing vocals? I'd go as far as saying in my opinion that on occasions that I've heard he's actually added a stronger back up than Noodles. I came to this conclusion after watching the live performances on the Complete Music Video Collection.

If you watch Gotta Get Away (I think it was) just listen right at the end as the song is drawing to a close when all three frontmen sing "Gotta Get Away From Me". There's a really prominent back up in there and I really don't think it's Noodles coming through, I think it's Greg. It really adds alot of power in my opinion.

Don't get me wrong I think Noodles does a great job leading the back up vocals but Greg deserves alot more credit than what he gets.

yeah, he's backing both instrumental and vocal parts with a kickass low section.

yea i agree....greg k can sing pretty good. Noodles doesnt sing too well sometimes. Its kinda weird that they have 4 singers

Wouldn't it be weird if Greg or Noodles actually led the vocals on an Offspring song? It'd be pretty cool I think to hear that. Dexter could bail them out if it sounded awful by providing some awesome backing vocals.

They should try it, I mean why not....they could make it a novelty song or something. If that sounds too ridiculous then let Greg or Noodles take a verse or a chorus between them rather than a full song.

sounds cool... and how about having them randomly pick a new instrument for one song ? Dex back on drums after such a long time, now THAT would kick ass :D

At a offspring concert, right when they're about to open with All I want, Greg K should just go up to Dexter, crush his skull with the bass, and then sing the vocals for all I want. That'd be so awesome. All the members are dancing around Dexter's dead body w00t!

That's what he's always wanted us to think. Its part of his evil plan to take over the world. If he's shy then people will think that he deserves more credit and soon everyone will worship him then the world is his muhahahahaa!!! :D

didn't anyone notice how the live dvd vocals for Come Out And Play sucked? You couldn't even hear the, "Take Em Out" part that greg was supposed to sing.

Well if you watch the Complete video collection when the girl tackles dexter at the one of the last chorus' i think you can hear only noodles singing.

in one interview with noodles he says that he does bad back up vocals so greg must do better than him

I think that the offspring should do songs like Rancid sometimes and have all three singers taking turns with verses or lines.
