im write a paper on the influence of politics and war on music. i need help. can people send me links to websites that talk about that topic. interviews with bands that talk about how they feel about politics. also, are there any books about these topics?

When I have to do reports like that, I always search Google. That's my suggestion to you. Also, see if Wikipedia has anything.

May i suggest you look into folk music... i know it sounds a bit obsecure, but indegious music can give you an insight into peoples attitudes towards issues such as war and politics. For example, politics has influenced Irish music for generations. Protest music, from like the 60's and stuff... acousticy, waily stuff, is also highly influnenced by these issues.

I can't think of any websites, but just search around. Try not to focus on too much modern stuff.. it doesn't have enough substance for what you are writing.

Good luck with it.. it sounds really interesting.
