Noodles' Guitar in 'The Kids Aren't Alright' Video...It's not the normal NDM1

Now I know his guitar is a NDM1 but if anyone else noticed the guitar in that video doesn't have the 'duct tape' effect...its just silver with the white scratchplate etc...i haven't seen him playing with this guitar at any other time so...



i only noticed it today and I'm wondering has anyone else noticed this

oh and in case u didnt notice, the guitar on i choose video is very similiar its silver with the black scratchplate (no duc tape too) :D

maybe he use it in studio.him and dexter have a bunch of guitars.dexter like the RG series.after smash they were offered a deal with ibanez,thats why its rare to see noodles or dexter with anything other than ibanez.but in studio its a different story,while recording splinter they tried out a whole range of different guitars, including a strat, a Tele, sn SG, and a custom shop Les Paul fitted with P-90 pickups.

dont try to figure out how many guitar they are using and wich one it is.they are using so many different stuff in studio,live and in video clips.

yeah but it's different pickups, i've tried to find a talman with same pickups as noodles but i haven't found it (yet)

yes thats true..I even have some really old live performances and in them you can see Noodles playing the Les Paul..

during smash they got a deal with Ibanez..so now they play on Ibanez guitars

There are two duct-taped guitars.
One is visible in the I Choose and Kids videos, and can be seen in Woodstock 99. It was originally that silver sparkle finish you see in I Choose, then Noodles taped it. You can tell it's home-made, as it's starting to wear off (see pics at my site (http://guitar.web-pros.co.uk))
The second is an Ibanez NDM1, which is totally different. It is taped by Ibanez and has no pickguard - that's how you can identify it. See my site for more info!
