It's the exactly the same as the NDM1 , except for the look....

Looks GREAT though ....

It lacks a tremelo bar and the fret access it hard for soloing...I know this thanks to the thread I created earlier....

Looks good but the one we can buy will just be an average guitar...the one Noodles will have will be customised and have all the things that one lacks

actually the body is differant. If you look at the two, the ndm1 body leans kinda forward, and the ndm2 leans more backwards.

Its got more of a Les Paul look. I think so anyways

it is very similar to a custom JapTele that my dad has... at least in appearence...

i'd like to point out to all those complaining about how similar the specs are on the two guitars, that just the difference in body shape will immensly influence their sound. so does the duck tape finish on the ndm1... every little thing effects the sound of the guitar... i'm kind of curious what it would do to the sound of a squire strat... i can get 'em for $99 around the holidays so i may experiment next year... i almost did this year

Ya, I went to NAMM today and saw it in person. It's pretty nice, the offspring logo with the glasses imposed on it is a nice touch. :D

unfortunately, Noodles is doing a signing/M & G thingee on saturday at 11 am, and I have work. Across the street, at the emptiest place on earth (disney's california adventure).

Today I also saw a drumset with spinners attached to the front of the bass drum...it's atrocious! I'll post the picture soon so we can all vomit in disgust.

I know this and all but the overall 'mechanics' of the guitar are the same...if the appearance.finish and shape affect the sound then so be it but the specs of the guitar aren't any different...and I was complaining about it, I was just saying...

But the model we will be able to buy won't be half of the NDM2 than the one Noodles will have...He will have it all customised and have all of the things that aren't on the one we can buy...

Still...It looks like a kickass guitar

I don't see the big deal about this guitar. If i had to pick between the ndm1 or ndm2 i'd go with the ndm1, it looks so much cooler. I am looking aroudn and saving up for a new guitar, but it's not gonna be an ibanez. Probably a schecter or Jackson.

Edit: After looking at the ndm2 again, im not big on the pick guard.

I think this is quite unnecesary. The NDM1 is far cooler than the new one, which feels too regular. I love the sound of the NDM1 and I suppose the NDM2 has a sound not very different, but the guitar has to look good as well :p I myself have a Fender Obey Tele Collage which I think both sounds and looks great :) http://www.jam.se/images/obeytelesm.jpg
