For vacation, do you prefer a house on the mountain or a house on the beach?

Definitely beach.
Then I can go around saying things like, "look at that beach" "what an ugly beach" "this little beach here" "where's the beach"
I hope that's not too subtle for this board.

Was this a reply to what I said? Or...were you trying to prove a point that it's alright to be absolutely and completely random?

But my post never stated that you shouldn't post this thread here. I believe you misunderstood me.

I'd go for a mountain if it was covered with snow. I hate the beach and I never touched snow in my life.

Would you also like to lay on the beach?

Yes I would. And I've always wanted to try a foreign beach.

It's not all that special, believe me. At least, I like it for a short while, but your hands are totally freezing off after a while.

I don't think he meant for masturbationary purposes.

I still hate the sun though. I prefer cold weather.

Definately in the mountains... With a paved road going all the way down, and some very tight trucks, and maybe a kicker ramp at the bottom.

Beach .
mountain.
hah, YES, definitely. mountains are awesome & the absolute shit. if you want to swim, you can easily find fresh mountain rivers & lovely waterfalls & it's wonderful to make long walks through them in the summer. it's even more awesome to SKI. (man, I just can't wait till I'm on my skis again<3) in winter, or in early spring.... oh hell yeah. with the sun above & under you, since the snow reflects it...
& actually we *have* a vacationhouse in the Swiss mountains, which I wouldn't want to give up for the world.
does anyone want to see some dreamy pictures??
too bad, I'm going to trash this topic with them anyway. ;p

the first two pictures were taken in summer with a temperature of 35 degrees. I'd share more pics, but the site won't allow it. *frownies*

mountains for sure. definately. beaches get boring and uninteresting after a day or two. Mountains are great to hike or just explore around where you're staying. There should, of course, be tiny rivers to swim in and jump off rocks and lay in the sun reading a good book.
Speaking of vacation and mountains...As of sunday, I shall be terrorising the Himalaya. 3 weeks of nepal mmmmhhhh hiking up to mt. Annapurna base camp. Goin in the chitwan Jungle and seeing around Kathmandu. Ahhh I can't wait. Bella, expect those pictures to look like crap next to mine in about 4 weeks from now. :D
