Hello. Im doing a poster for a rock service for easter. They dont want anything too complicated, so i was thinking aroung the likes of Jesus on the cross, and him resurrecting with a guitar, or something kindergardenlike, like that. Some people might find that to be blasphemy, wouldnt they?
Give me some good ideas for a poster. Yes, please.

I get what you are trying to say and I think it would be ok by them. You could also call the rock show thing the rock resurrection. That might get up their noses though.

jesus with a guitar would be awsome but just leave out the cross. He could be dressed up in that 80's style metalhead clothes. He already has the long hair so that would be perfect.

Jesus coming back with a guitar is brilliant. Anyone who would be offended probably already thinks that rock-n-roll is the music of the devil.
Forget the metal head stuff though, that's a stupid idea.

I'd leave the cross out, as well, but have Jesus do the whole "singing songs on a campfire"-sort of thing.
It may not be cool but it's the in-character thing to do.

Nice picture, made me laugh. But back at the topic at hand. You should have Jesus doing that whole Jimmy Hendricks think with the guitar up in flames on the ground and him kneeling other it like he's summoning it. That (I think) would be bad ass and it get the children thinkin.

Think about it, he was a wood worker, he's going to make his own guitar and carry it around if he felt it was necessary to be part of his image.......... I did chuckle on the one with the gun, it shows you that us Christians can laugh at ourselves, I wish the other religions could do the same, we'd have alot less war.
As for rock and roll, officially the pope said it's evil, I'd shutter to think what this world would be like without it, Rap would be my music of choice to bash.............

Yeah, it's really too bad that all those other religions start wars. The American Civil War, The Mexican-American War, The Spanish-American War, WWI, WWII, The Cold War,o Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, the Iraq War... all caused by other religions' inability to laugh at themselves.

Looks like my keyword for the biz I run has this b.s. site showing up, looks like I pissed off some hacker...........
Metalheads, I can truely crank out some major shredding sounds, lead and rythem, blues was my base, still absolutely love it, but metallica was my main inspiration for learning how to shred on the guitar.....
Keep it real folks, I'm a regular guy, just have multi biz going on, wish you all well and look me up when you need to get a job, you can count tabs and know what a cleff is, I consider that as major experience when hiring.

love the idea, but indeed, watch out with it. not just people who think rock 'n roll is music of the devil, but also religious people - very religious people/who can't take a joke - will be offended.
probably those are basically the same as the ones who consider rock 'n roll & rock 'n roll culture devilish, but yeah, ants are insects, but insects aren't necessarily ants, if you get what I mean.
