Yes, I would be sad. But he's not my family member. I didn't know him personally. He happened to be famous, and died. What about all the other thousands of people that die every single day? Shouldn't we all mourn them too, then?

Well how noble your city is then. Personally, I have a life to get on with, and I'm not going to pretend to mourn a guy I didn't even know. Sure, he inspired a lot of people. But again, what about all the ordinary, run-of-the-mill people that inspire others around them? What about my best friend's sister? She was a wonderful person who was tragically killed at the age of 15. Shouldn't you mourn her too? Are you saying Darrell takes priority in mourning just because he's famous?
