What films do you believe to be revolutionary, changed your view on things, or changed something in general?
Pusher. Danish film from 96, really broke some barriers for danish films. Great film. You should see it if yoy ever get the chance.
It was shown on danish TV the other night, and im seeing the followup tonight. Im looking very much foward to it.
Hello.
It's hard to say how one would defy 'revolutionary'. No films have caused a revolution or prevented one.
The Andalusian Dog
Metropolis, the 20's version.
Chaplin's film about Hitler (I forget the original title, sorry)
Casablanca (if in nothing else but the time it took to film - a shocking over a week - which was not very common in Hollywood those days)
Citizen Kane
Star Wars
No nineties films come to mind. Also, to me it's very difficult to name movies that have affected me instead of just me liking the films.

the matrix was a pretty revolutionary for the genre of sci-fi, it spawned a million rip-offs. pitty the 2nd and 3rd movies were awful

There was nothing revolutionary about the matrix in science fiction. In fact it's a rather empty plot. It could've been better if they had cast an actor with more than one facial expression as Neo.
Revolutionary, hard to say, I suppose "The Cider House Rules" however that was pretty popular in America.
Fight Club, the author is one of those weird Oregonian (shout-out to my homies in Lane County) leftists with bizarre views. But the story is just so good and so well done.
That's about it I suppose. I don't see many films.

Kom min dame, kom kom min dame, du´ min sommerfugl, sukker, spædbarn.
Just saw this. Nice. Something my friends and I do all the time.
Ew, what was that band called? Crazy Town? Ew.

haha I forgot that you've had Swedish. Yeah that'd be Crazytown. Personally I'm partial to translations of Britney Spears' songs.
Hov, jeg gjorde det igen,
jeg spillede med dit hjerte,
tabt mig i spillet,
åh skat åh skat,
hov, jeg gjorde det igen,
du tror jeg er forelsket
jeg er ikke så uskyldig.
All songs are better in the language of Aryans.

Oh yeah, I was supposed to say about Fight Club - while I consider it an excellent film, I don't think it's all that revolutionary. The greatness of it really comes from the great script that was a good adaptation of a fantastic novel by Palahniuk. Given, it did have some excellent visuals, but many only see it as a well done black comedy. As far as I know, it hasn't really become a film that a lot of people would remember on that level.

I was basically referring to the message. (Which politically speaking is somewhere along the lines of Anarcho-Primitivism, an interesting group, although far too numerous in Oregon).

Rumours have the orginal "On the beach" film about nuclear war was watched by Krushef (sp) before the Cuban Missle crisis. If you've seen that film you'll now how sad it is. Nuff said.

Haven't seen Pusher 2, I don't think I've seen number one. I can count the number of Danish films I've seen with one hand. Although Kongekabale is actually pretty good.
The Beatles make for some good danish songs, as well as Abba. Dansende Dronning.

Yeah check out imdb about the remake. The original was the first premiere US style screening in the USSR and he went. If you've seen the film you'll know how much it effects you. I've seen the remake it it was the saddest film I've ever seen, I did actually cry to it like some pussy. But man you gotta see it. Amazing stuff.
