What is this, the first time you ever went online? Welcome to the world wide web. Of course we burn cds. DVDs even. Who the fuck is gonna buy all his music from stores? Sure, support the artist if you like his work and shit, but you're pretty stupid in my book if you're gonna pay two grands for a hundred albums a typical music fan will have in his collection.

I buy the cds of artist when I think they have good potential, talent, whatever. But I have a lot of burned cds, most of the time compilation, just songs I like and put together on a cd.

I am really happy when I just bought a (I hope good) cd though. I get so exited.

I usually don't burn cd's, I just download music and put it on my minidiscplayer.

I really like original cd's, I don't often buy a cd, though.

when I go on vacations I definitely do. but normally I download bunches, put everything in playlists with different genres & chronically play it in Winamp on my computer, depending on my mood which playlist I choose to play. even when I'm not at home, the music plays, so there'll always be music playing in my room, when I do come home.

I do buy cd's but very, very rarely. only if it's from an artist I adore & want to support one way or another.

I'd do that....but don't you ever think about the energy bill!? It must be huge....

not really my problem.
the extra costs for my room are huge, so I guess leaving your computer on all day is included.

I like buying CDs, a lot of people think I'm crazy, but I know that some understand. I try and buy them used or online or at shows to save cash.

I really love that excitement of getting a new CD and opening it up and looking through the liner notes, and listening to it as a whole.

I burn some CDs, mostly mixes of random good songs, or CDs I really don't want to bring myself to buy. But even when I burn them, I still make a nice case with all the songs labelled, etc. I wouldn't be entirely opposed to burning albums, but I like to have them in perfect quality and in with all the songs in order as intended, and I find it very time consuming to actually make proper burned CDs. Also, lots of artists I can't really find on the Internet. I don't mind burning copies of CDs off of friends, but obviously I don't have many friends who have CDs that I want to burn.

Yeah, I burn CD's. But I go out and buy the CD's too, so I can have the original copy.
