I tried posting a message, and as you can see (and hopefully count) I've used more than 10 characters here, yet this stupid message saying I hadn't used more than 10 characters came up.

Ok, did you press enter and it give you that message? Then you added the 10 characters thing? Then pressed again? I'd blame the cache on that one.

The [ and ] are tag codes. And tags don't count.
Try posting only a quote and nothing else.

Here, I tried to post this as a quote, except it didn't allowed me to cause of the 10 character rule. But your post was longer than 10 characters.
