none here - u never know it might come at some point
(it's wierd though, its getting warmer here every winter!)
today a guy i know had just a t shirt and he wasn't too cold, which is scary considering that 2 years ago at this time of year we were all wearing lots of layers... (and a year before that it snowed in november)

It snowed a little little little little tiny bit this afternoon.

surprising, we haven't gotten much yet. Rochester usually gets tons!! We even had an ice storm in April of 2003. Rochester weather is so unpredictable and incosistant.
we do! a lot of snow! wanna a little? :D
Yes, but it's mostly just yellow.

Last time it snowed here was two weeks ago. But we still got plenty of it since the weather's not really warm.

Yes, it snowed around 30 cm this weekend and there was already snow on the ground before that. It's still snowing.

Why's it gross there?

It gets all gross here too. In a couple of days it will be all brown.

I think it sorta does that in most cities. Especially in those who don't have very cold winters.

It's mostly because of the cars and pollution, because it gets brown even when it is -40 C.

Yeah, definitely. Plus the stuff they put on the roads to make the snow melt. It makes it all yuck.
Nope, no snow. Damn cold and windy, but no snow. Not that I mind, the snow in Bg made it almost impossible for me to reach the bus station and go to school. Well, not impossible, but since it's uphill it took me about twice as much time... Two steps up, slide one down... And going home would have been easier if I'd just slided downhill on my ass. But I couldn't stop in time.
Oh nevermind. Belgium = flat. Me = likey.

Why's it gross there?
New York is so dirty the snow immediately turns into dark grey slush. And the snow that doesn't melt and gets swept away forms HUGE, black icy piles on the sidewalks... it's nasty..
it looks beautiful when it's snowing though.

I live in Belgium too, so no snow either. I wish there was though, cause it's all pretty when no one walked over it in the morning and stuff, and it tastes good (shut up, it does taste better than just water!)

Yeah, I know what you're talking about. Right now, it's still beautiful since it's still snowing and I live in a suburb so less cars = no brown snow for now. :)

There's snow and ice here, and I crushed my hand while running this morning. I had to go to the hospital and stay there for about 4 hours. Anyway, it's good to be back here, safe.

We're supposed to get 2-4 inches Sunday night, and since everyone around here are such pussys when it comes to snow, 2-4 inches will definitely mean no school. When I lived in Massachusetts it took 6 feet of snow to close school, here we only get a slight dusting and everyone panics, it's crazy.
Tired_Of_You
12-17-2004, 03:24 PM
Only 2-4 inches and no school? Dammit, if it was like that where I live, I already wouldn't have school a couple of times. It takes a loooot of snow to close school too. Last year my school didn't close one time...or maybe once, I'm not sure.

12-17-2004, 03:36 PM
Yeah, that's the way it was when I lived in Massachusetts, it took like 6 feet of snow to close school there
