Are there any plans for a best of or a greatest hits album?

I've got Americana but wouldn't mind getting them all together.

There is already a Greatest Hits album. Go to offspring.com and click on "music". The first album you start on is the Greatest Hits.

Are you serious?

You can't go to any record store without seeing the Greatest Hits everywhere. That's a bad thing. As with any other band with a Greatest Hits, record stores assume nobody really gives a shit about the other albums anymore once a GH is out. For more info, please visit your local record store and check out the Queen section.

That's right, Offspring greatest hits is always first! there are tons of copies and of Splinter, Americana, Ixnay and Co1 only one or two copies. Maybe because it's the latest album, though. And it sucks that in the normal record stores (i mean "Normal"=not "under" -or whatever it is called- record stores) there isn't S/Ts, Ignitions or Smashs.

Yep, Queen are the best band ever. But record companies need money, and since Queen aren't making albums anymore there's like a new greatest hits album per year with the same songs, just in a different order. If I'm lucky I'll come across A Night At The Opera, but mostly it's Greatest Hits 1, 2, 3, Queen Rocks, Classic Queen, and Stone Cold Classics. Oh, and lest we forget the imported Greatest Hits albums, which all cost $40 each for the exact same songs.

Smash is all over the place, and I;ve seen Ignition in a couple mainstream stores. However, self-titled I have only seen in an underground store.

the difference between offspring and queen, though, is the greatest hits quality. I have a whole bunch of queen cds, and I strongly believe that their hits (bicycle race, somebody to love, fat bottomed girls, under pressure, etc) are their best songs... I listen to their greatest hits FAR more than the regular albums. the offspring's hits are their weakest songs, and I tend to skip over their hits. Polar opposites...

Did anyone else notice the stupidity and the failed attempt at being funny this is?
