Smash re-interpreatation

I just recorded this "re-interpretation" of Smash.

It was one my stepfather and mine favourite Offspring songs.

He died 2 months ago.

Hope you'll like it.

I wanted to add a voice or a guitar "doing the voice", but my hd it's too slow (5200 rpm) and couldn't manage more than a bunch of tracks: there was a lot of latency between tracks.
But i'll have a mac book pro on my birthday (june 5th), and i'll try to re-record it.

i'm not recording thru mic, i have an audio interface (alesis io|2) which can be connected to the pc/mac via USB, so i don't need the mic :D

Really good cover!! I really like it! Very nice job. Hope to hear more covers from you. I really like the part that comes in the original version after 40 seconds in your song. Really crappily explained but hope you understand what I mean. :D It sounds really cool in your version of the song!

I don't know about preferring it... but I think I like it just as much. just because it puts a spin on it that gives it a completely different feel. I don't know, I LOVE instrumental versions of songs... and acoustic guitar... I don't really know! I guess that the actual version puts me in a pissed off energetic mood, and yours puts me in a relaxed, contemplative mood. which is good :)
