They're terrible. And what's worse they started a trend of boybands who pose as rock bands. They were pop before they even started.

That's odd Nina, I don't think I've ever seen more busted anywhere than on Viva or Viva Plus.

ah well I figured it if it was played that much on Viva channels, than it would be pretty common in German media. But tis a good thing you don't listen to the radio, I'd agree to that. Although that explains why I've never heard of any of the bands you talk about.

Yeah, on the Busted board there were some classy stories.
Though my favourite fangirl stories were found on the Westlife board. They were like "ok so me n my friend kate r writtin this story and i'm gonna be wiv [insert one band member] and kate will be wiv [insert another band member]! duz any1 wanna be in it as well??? you can be wiv any of the guys that are left!!! just leave a msg here of who u wanna b wiv and mention ur name 2!!!".
It was horrendous. They used "cum" as in "Cum downstairs, Kate!!!".

Busted are exceptionally crap.
The worst part is that unlike other pop 'bands' they apparently play their own instruments. Watch a video - they all have a guitar in their hands, no idea how to play, and are about 2 inches from the screen the entire time.
Not to mention no drummer in sight, rather odd.

I watched this live video... the song had 2 electrics, a bass, and drums... the guys were holding an acoustic, an electric, and a bass.
The bassist stopped "playing" long enough to rap, while his bass amazingly played the bass line perfectly 4 times through... I guess it's those residual vibrations...
Amazingly enough, there was a sololike part, and the guy with the acoustic carried it out perfectly while strumming like a madman....
I say, they must be awesome at their instruments!

They were on TV, it must be about 1 1/2 ago, but it's memorable. They were asking them about playing at some kind of a pop festival. And they were like 'Yeah, it was a bit odd for us to play there actually, because we're a rock band.' No you're not, you stupid, stupid men. Rotfl.
- Why don't they have a drummer?
- Why do they insist on emulating a 'pseudo American' accent even though they're clearly English?

its for those reasons that i wudnt kill them if i saw them on the street but yes by now stretch of the imagination are they anything but a pop band.
Apparently one of the guys from Busted was at the gig I went to at the Camden Barfly last night. I never saw him but it didn't bother me.

Ive seen Blink 182 twice the past couple of weeks and Busted's evil spawn known as McFly were there both times.
The 1st time everyone threw stuff at them in the pit.
The 2nd time they were at the top of the stairs trying to get backstage, and they werent allowed as they didnt have passes, and these people I met there shouted insults at them.
I cant decide whose worse, Busted or McFly

I never realised the band were a heavy metal band either. And they used pictures that were from December 2, 2003, over a year old. Excpet for the one from the Busted guy, he probably went to some sun photographer to get his angry face on.

Following the departure of Charlie Simpson, Busted announced today (Friday 14th Jan 2005) that they have decided to split up.
Over the last two years James Bourne, Charlie Simpson and Matt Willis have become household names. Busted have had eight top three hits including four number ones. Both Busted albums, 2002’s Busted and 2003’s A Present For Everyone, have clocked up over 1 million sales each.
Busted won Best Pop Act and Best Breakthrough Act at the 2004 BRIT awards and they were nominated for Best British Group. Most recently they topped the charts with the theme to the Thunderbirds movie, which was voted Record Of The Year.
