Sorry if this is a repeat but who agrees with me when i say they should have added songs from Ignition and The Offspring on there?

a gratest hits cd is a cd with the bands most sold singels... not the best songs from the band.

Then they should make a C.D. where they take there personal favorites and put them inot one.

No, they shouldn't. One greatest hits is enough. We don't want offspring to turn into queen.

Greatest Hits albums aren't really made for the fans anyway, however I do think they could've got away with putting dirty magic on it (I don't remember Want You Bad being a hit)

If you have a CD burner, make your own Greatest Hits. The official GH CD is for people who like the singles that come on the radio but are too lazy to buy the albums.

that would be a LONG cd and you probably stilll wouldn't be satisfied with the songs that they chose to put on it.

Greatest Hits is made for:
People who don't have any Offspring cd and by buying it, they can became Offspring fans and buy all the other cds.
Fans who like Offspring very much and they wanna have all the cds (it includes 2 new songs too! and Defy You that was only released as a single*)
People who aren't fans, they just are interested a little in Offspring, and by buying it, they have a kind of "resume" of Offspring's albums.

Really? Could someone be that idiot? It's more than obvious the song is NOT sweet!
*EDIT: In the "Orange County" movie soundtrack.

ok, good point. I'm number 2. I bought it just so I could have all the albums, and for the DVD side of the dual disc (I have Can't Repeat, Defy You, and Next to You on my Mp3 player anyway) but I was just talking about greatest hits albums in general. Not all of them have new material and a DVD side.

Really? ... ok, whatever, i guess i'm wrong about that too, but I don't think it was a hit at all over here (Canada) I only ever saw the video on TV once and I never heard it on the radio.

My opinion is that bands should release their Greatest Hits albums after they make new music no more. Then it will really be their Greatest Hits. E.G. now with Offspring there can (and will) be many more "greatest hits". Maybe they'll release another one once they've stopped making new ones.

What I think they should do, maybe 5 or so albums down the road, is release a complete singles collection, dating back all the way to the I'll Be Waiting vinyl and including everything that has been released as a single, whether it was a hit or not. This would include Take it Like a Man, Bad habit, Totalimmortal, Smash it Up, etc. I know it would be like a 2 or 3 disk set, but it would be cool.

Take it Like a Man wasn't a single. Kick Him When He's Down was, though.

They should have included a couple more songs though. I think overhere in Holland songs like Bad Habit and Staring At The Sun are way more wellknown then the last 2 singles. "Hits" doesn't mean singles, "hits" means popular songs and they've got more popular songs then just the singles wich are on the Greatest Hits.

Well.. The Red Hot Chili Peppers just released an album after their Greatest Hits, and seems to be doing good in the charts, that's hope the new Offspring album would be something like that with a whole bunch of songs.

Was DUI on the "I Know..." soundtrack? Because it's played in the movie, if I remember correctly. It's near the beginning where the one guy is driving drunk in his car before the accident. It's a pretty dumb movie, but I thought that was pretty cool.
