This is probably old news, and I'm too lazy to search, but anyways here's my story: It all started today, well yesterday if you really know your time, I went to the local HMV and wandered into the punk section. I looked at The Offspring's albums and I saw a weird one in front, and to my surprise it was just a little promotional thing that said this: "The new Offspring album, coming Fall 2006". So uh, cool! It's finally nice to see a new album coming out soon from a band I like after 3 years from each.

EDIT: What a day, I also figured out that The Casualties is coming out with a new album this month. Good for me.

Not to burst your bubble here dude, but HMV doesn't know a release date from my left testicle.

I wouldn't put too much faith in it. It's a definite possibility, but you know how this stuff is. If it's not official, don't take it as gospel.

Well, I am in that mindset, infact I made a joke about it to my friend where I said "I guess it's coming out in December." But uh yeah, atleast it's something about the new album.

I'd say it comes out between November'06 and January'07.

From Sony they told that beginning of 2007 looks right now.

I have a feeling this one is going to be pushed back a lot. I remember Splinter was pushed back quite a bit.

Yeah, but even after they settled on the name change and everything, they still pushed it back a few times.
