BUt seriously, that wasn't bad at all. Your timing is pretty much perfect, and that's a good trait in drummers. You missed quite a few notes and didn't play some fill right, but at least you played what you did well. Also, your bass pattern wasn't correct. If you want my advice, play with more energy and conviction. DOn't be lethargic in your drumming, that just leads to a bad sound. Have confidence in what you are playing, even if it's wrong, and the crowd will go nuts. So yeah, just go nuts on those drums, but don't sacrifice your timing for it (although it doesn't seem like a problem for you). I see potential. Just work on playing with more energy and confidence and you will be fine.

Actually, if I were you, I'd try something a little bit more advanced than The Offspring. Ron Welty is a great drummer, but try a little bit of Rush (Closer to The Heart isn't too hard) and maybe even Led Zeppelin (Black Dog is a good one to start with).

btw, I have been playing for about six years now, but that video was taken at about 5 years. And at the time, I had only played the set for about 2 and a half. The funny thing is that I'm ashamed to let people see that video nowadays because it is basically crap. I kept gettting out of time and I didn't play anything to show my versatility. I'll make another video.recording as soon as I can.

Yeah. Travis Barker. One of the most overrated drummers in the world. He is good, but all the teeny-boppers who know nothing about music think that he is the best drummer in the world, when he is far from it. I can play mosst of his beats myself.
