I think you're a fag. No, I really should be nicer to you on your first post. If you don't want to be ridiculed go to general offspring discussion.

And i read no stickies........ a big forum no-no. but i remember theis music stirring my soul as a little grom and smash still has the same effect. but the new tunes just dont have the underlying meaning
so flame away......

i had a feeling my question would be answered with a search.
But i like an actual response, hell even if it is a half-ass flame

Hang on a second, he may not be original in his thread idea, but he's not entirely inaccurate.
Yes, "Smash" is considered by many to be the height of their career, Golgo. It's not a view I share, but yep, it's a pretty widely-held opinion.
Personally, "Ixnay" has the most sentimental value to me, along with being in my eyes their most solid overall effort.
But hell, "Americana" and "Conspiracy" probably have the most mature and technically refined songwriting, and "Ignition" holds a special place in any Offspring fan's heart.
But all being said, yep: "Smash" is considered their hey-day, so to speak.

Golgo my friend, I don't flame--I close. And since you clearly know all about the search function on this message board, I have absolutely no idea why you bothered to start this topic at all, other than to make my job harder.
