i think that would have been cool, offspring is one of the biggest punk bands and metallica is one of the biggest rock bands. yeah, i think that would have been relly cool.

I never noticed this thread. I have an opinion on it, so I'll post it here.

Brett said there was a song on Ixnay on the Hombre "One song sounds like Jane's Addiction".

Finally, someone else who noticed! The song he is referring to is "Me and My Old Lady". When I heard that song, I immediately thought Jane's Addiction.

I saw pennywise with the offspring in tucson, az in 2004, and last year's warped tour dropkick murphys and offspring.

Rise Against suck knob, Metallica are just a poor-man's Megadeth (albeit Hetfield being a better vocalist), and Green Day are long past any musical relevance they once had.

Pennywise & The Offspring have played together before. Hell, Dexter's done vocals for Pennywise live.
