Sum 41 has the best punk sound in the whole world. There new album chuck isnt that punky. Its still awsome a hell though

They're punk like exact punk, punk is more of like DK and such. They sound a bit of punk, but they're a mix. Pop/Punk/Rock is my type of label I would put them under. I don't know, others would say different from me here anyway, but I still say that. And Sum 41 is good, they don't make my top list of best bands, but they're still good.

I don't even consider Sum 41 to be punk anymore. Their first 2 albums were pop punk, but their newer 2 albums, which are sooo much better, are practically just plain hard rock. Does This Look Infected? and Chuck are great albums.

they are sorta pop punk in the beginning, heavier hard rock more recently. theyre bearable, but i hate their singer

well when I was 11 (so innocent was I) I liked them and their sound evolve with me so I like them I prefer their last record "chuck" heavier, they sound metal sometimes and other time really punk... in one song or 2 like "some say" and "pieces" they really sound popish but the album in overall is REALLY GOOD and I'm surely gonna see them in montreal january 16th

actually I really hate their old stuff.....it was sooo fucking boring..
but their last two albums were great! :)
