I downloaded it, heard it, compared it to the original......drum-roll please........agreeing with just about everybody else, didn't like it. That song, Head Like A Hole , can NOT be re-made from any other band. That song is too precious and fuckin' kick ass.

wow im suprised reading these posts, I thought the AFI version was WAY better and better than anything off AFI's own CDs, Im so in love with the AFI version the guitar is so loud and rockin and the bass is incredible, the original is cool but I perfer the AFI by alot.

Even though it's still the same song, AFI adapted it to their style of music. It's much more guitar-heavy and doesn't have nearly as many electronic elements than the NIN original. I'm a huge fan of both AFI and NIN but I like the NIN original lust a little more than AFI's cover.

I heard it somewhere ont the internet a week ago (AFI's official site, I think :confused:) and I heard it on the radio last night. I liked it, I thought it was pretty cool. The past few months I've been becoming more into AFI, I think they are my second faveorite band now, actually. (No one can replace The Offspring!) I only have All Hallows EP, Black Sails in The Sunset, Answer That And Stay Fashionable, and Sing The Sorrow. I plan to get The Art of Drowning, I don't know when though. I don't think anyone cares, but oh well. Davey Havok is sexy too :D

True, it wasn't terrible, I just think NIN is too much of a badass band to have other bands remaking their songs. A.F.I. is still my 2nd fav band tho. Their dark style [the way I find them] is just over-whelming for me, I love them.

Davey Havok is sexy as fuck [just in second place from Billie Joe Armstrong, that man is just too damn hott he makes me sink to the floor.] Go to Wal-Mart, that's where I got it, it's cheaper from there. It's not Parental Advisory so it doesn't matter. That's the only reason why I hate Wal-Mart, damn bastards only have edited CDs. :mad:

The album is probably more heavier and darker than Sing The Sorrow, basically a lot of their older stuff was a lot darker and heavier so don't think right away it's somewhat like Sing The Sorrow. Both albums I love either way. The Art Of Drowning and Sing The Sorrow are kinda hard for me to say which I love more. :confused: I love them both!!!

Yea, definitely. Even tho Sing The Sorrow was what got me into them, when I hear of a band that I just fall for, I want their older stuff so then I realized that their older stuff was a lot darker and more hardcore punk, I LOVE IT!!!!!! Punk is my type of music. Especially hardcore. Sing The Sorrow's Death Of Seasons, I believe, is my fav song off of that album.
