Too much.

It depends where you live. I can see in the UK it being upwards of £25 ($50).

That's the avg price we pay. Less Than Jake with the Dropkick Murphys cost me £20 ($40), and to see the Kaiser Chiefs it's £27 ($55 ish). It's bloody expensive in England. :(

$15-$40 is normal.

I wish we had gigs as cheap as $15, the best I've had is £10 ($20) for a not so well known band.

I live in argentina and here It depends the band, the concert or festival, etc.. when offspring came in 2004 the price of ticket was 35/40, the concert was part of a "festival", but now, the price of that same "festival" is 80 to 95 i think. When the rolling stones came the price of the ticket was 75 to 250  , the same with U2.
If offspring comes (i hope so) :D , maybe the price of the ticket is going to be more expensive that before.

P.S: Sorry for my english :( , thanx, bye

And, in France what is the price ? I've never went to their concert :( But this year, if they come in France, I'll do the impossible for saw them if they just can come to Lille (or Dunkerque it could be...wow but they don't )

Mel_Off, when you tell the price, you tell in $ or in £ ?

That's pretty damn good, how lond ago was that though? I'm seeing the Kaiser Chiefs next month and that's £25 +booking fee, I was half wondering whether it was worth going to. My friend saw Oasis last year and that was £35. It just seems quite expensive recently, especially for big name acts.

I tell the price in $$$$$$$$$, When they came before the show in 2004, (´99 and ´97) the price was different and more expensive.

Yeah, I guess that's why I was in two minds as to whether I should go, but then I thought it's a chance that doesn't come along very often, getting to see the Kaiser Chiefs in a relatively small venue.

it is good to see "larger" bands in small venues, i saw bad religion at the underworld in camden london once which was amazing! its not always convenient for bands and fans though!

Bazza is actually right, tickets here are fuck alot, it cost £30 for me to see madness on 2 sepearte occasions (but £30 each) and my bro said its was £45 to see the offspring in the manchester appolo, though that was a smaller venue than usual.

ive never found tickets to be really expensive like that, except for bands like green day and foo fighters in the big outdoor festivals where they were between £30 and £40. most venues in london have a ticket face value of under £20 - i say most, i havent been to any at the new wembley!

Seriously it costs a hell of a lot of money to see bands nowadays. I was lucky to get a few tickets to gigs for just under £20, but then I guess sometimes it's worth it, Kaiser Chiefs in 3weeks, £27 but it will be one hell of a gig...

It's costing me $50 AU to see NOFX at a big venue and $50 to see them at a small one. I saw frenzal rhomb twice, both at small venues and it was like $20-25AU each time. Pennywise was about $50, and rise against $40-45.
