"Thanks for your email. The Offspring is in the studio and won't be doing shows until this summer. Please contact us again in the spring and we will have more info for you."

I asked just out of curiosity what are their touring plans from one person, and it's obviously pretty much planned that they will start touring this summer, I would guess in Europe that is. They did Warped last year already and I think they will not do it one after another. European festivals are also more beneficial to play so let's just wait and see if there will be any details from any festivals about attaching them...

you MUST be fucking kidding me. if not, then it would be teh awesomeness, but i highly doubt it. if anything in Denmark, they'd probably play at Roskilde.

I don't like it when they plat at festivals. You'll have to pay loads to see them play for 45 minutes. And festivals usually tend to have quite a lot of bad artits, so there are only a few other bands worthy enough to see.
But nice 'news' though.

It would be totally rad if they played in my city though, the city announced a maximum of 6 large outdoor concerts a year. And since there are only 3 concert which I know about...

I much prefer the idea of seeing them live on tour than in a festival. I've seen bootlegs for both and people just don't give a shit at festivals presumably because they're just there to check out one of the headlineing bands; whereas in concerts there are people going real sick none stop.

This was said by the person who books them in the U.S by the way, and the guy responsible of booking them in Europe said that they are looking for dates at August in Europe, so if you have any big festivals at August I guess they could be playing there, I don't know, I just asked out of curiosity, must get money somewhere.

Lowlands (the Netherlands) and Pukkelpop (Belgium) are in August. Both very suitable for them. And there are plenty of more in other countries.

True, I guess they could go there. I just don't know if it's a small promo tour or a big one though, I guess we'll know sooner or later. ;)

Maybe Highfield in Germany (17. - 19. August). That would be great. On my birthday.

Perhaps Leeds and Reading festivals at least... I read someone said that they've been rumoured to play there. Then again impossible to know what's really going on right now.

I don't know about this anymore, the guy said August but I have a feeling things have changed since then. Or they might just go promoting the new album and maybe do a few club gigs like with Splinter. But doesn't matter, sooner or later they will be in Europe and I'm really looking forward to see them again. It's good time right now to get and earn some money. ;)
