I'd be employable if the shitty fast food jobs were actually available. I don't know what it's like in Australia, but here the only jobs a teenager can get are fast food and supermarket jobs.
Quit fucking whining. At fifteen I had a job offer for lifeguarding for 6 bucks an hour with good times, with increased wages every year. I could also work at a camp for 7 an hour, although no increase each year. This year I get to teach swim lessons for 8 an hour, and the times are dependent on my schedule because the guy who runs it is also my swim coach. In the 1870s or something, William Seward bough Alaska from the Russians for, like, a penny a square mile or something ridiculous, and was mocked for it. In maybe the 1920s, at the behest of American sugar plantation owners, sent in the Marines to take over Hawaii from the natives.
