Dexter is singing, not screaming ^^
There is no scream...

Are you sure your not mistaking a very brief shredding like sound, from the changing of fingers on chords, for a voice yelling in the backgound?

He is screaming: screaming Gotta Get Away from me, Gotta Get Away from me, Gotta Get Away from me!
Or were you refering to something else?

Sounds like one of the band saying "Go" or "No".

I've always heard it clearly. I vote for "go".

I still think its a scraping like sound of something brushing against a guitar chord.

You don't even know what the miniscule un-noticeable scream? And you call yourselves Offspring fans.

I never noticed it, and I don't really care. What's with it? What, do you think there's some secret hidden implication of it? They were trying to make some statement that only the truest of fans would notice? It's a random sound that made it into the track. The chances that it means something or has a point are very tiny. Too many threads have been made about this...

The only thing that interests me about that scream is what made Dexter think to add it. Did they finish up the track, and then Dexter is like "hold on, I gotta add in a random almost inaudible scream here"?

Yeh actually. I interpret the scream as "hoe", and see it as a message that the bands hates all of thier female fans. :p

I always thought the scream after the first chorus was somebody saying "help me." At least that's what it's always sounded like to me.
Has anyone heard the death message in the Lennon song Just Like Starting Over? THAT shit is creepy. "Late at night... you will be killed... Mark David."

First time I heard it I had my headphones on and I took'em off because I thought it was my mom yelling from downstairs. It still tricks me sometimes when I'm not paying attention.
I forget the part exactly. I'm not going to listen to it right now because I'm alone and it scares the fucking shit out of me. But a little electronic sounding voice is heard in the background. I'll find it tomorrow if you still can't.
The sound starts at 3:26.

Yeah, there is a scream. I never really paid any attention to it but now that you mention it... I'm not really sure if he's screaming a word or just screaming because his hand got slammed in the door....

i listened to it over and over and you guys are retarded, he just says " oh please let me scream" and then theres a guitar screech, and even if it is a scream, its obviously cos he says that line, nothing wierd about it.
