Hey, guys, did you know your iPod can completely fuck up itself if you forget to eject it before removing the iPod cord one time? One single time, it's all it takes! Fantastic! You learn something new every day!

Also, did you know your laptop can completely fuck up if the iPod that you previously forgot to eject before removing the cord is connected to the USB drive?

Well, now you do.

On the plus side, today's events made me back up my fucking HD in worry that my laptop will one day REALLY fuck up and not just because of some stupid iPod.

On the downside, I lost an iPod nano worth $200 because of one fucking small dumb mistake.

(For those who think they might be able to help, the 8GB Nano that was all new and spiffy is currently giving the "connected" screen even when it's not, you know, connected and iTunes won't recognize it so there's no way to safely disconnect it and even Windows wasn't able to safely eject it. And when it's connected to the laptop, my laptop's Windows won't load. Safe to say it's dead? Time of death today, 15:45. :()

I remove my cord without doing anything all the time, and my Ipod still works fine.

That happened to my cousin's ipod when he brought it over for me to transfer some songs from a cd to it. Somehow all the songs went missing even though they were still taking hard drive space. Wasn't that hard to fix though.

On a somewhat related note, I ordered a 30gig Zune for 100 dollars on woot.com yesterday.

Let the battery run out then plug it back in.

Fucking phew. Sorry for over-reaction, you guys, just had this moment of utter fucking panic when my laptop's Windows wouldn't start up and last night my region-free dvd program fucked itself up so I was like emoing it up big time, "why is everything going all wrong?".

All well ends well.

Now - would you like an amusing anecdote or a pic of my boobs?

I decided the amusing anecdote wasn't really that amusing anyway.

- The old saying, “ an apple a day, keeps the doctor away ”. This saying comes from am old English adage, “ To eat an apple before going to bed, will make the doctor beg his bread.”

I always safe-eject. But I spent money on this so I'm deeply paranoid. But I'm also quite safe within the boundries of the Danish marketing act. 2 year warranty guarantied.

But really what made me fall in love with my ipod was the fact that solitaire was on it. I love that game way too much.

Have you ever thought of watching Total Recall?

It's also good the line where Arnold Schwarzenegger is holding a disembodied Richter's arms and says to him while falling:
"See you at the party Richter"

Be aware however, that should you not deliver, you will find your constituents most unforgiving.
