What do you think about earrings? Do you think girls look good with them, or better?

Personally, I've never liked it when girls wear earrings. I can't really explain it, but they are just a turn-off for me. Not a huge one, but still. I think a girl looks much better with normal ears.

Seriously, diamond earrings, the ones that look like studs, change your whole expression. They're great. Other than that, I don't like jewelry anyway.

I fully disagree with both of these statements. Especially the first one... why should gender define whether or not it's "pathetic" to get a piercing? And in general, I don't think you can tell a single thing about a person based on the fact that they have a piercing that's not in their ears. Hell, if I wasn't so afraid of needles, I probably would have gotten a few piercings when I was in college. Not because I feel some need to express myself, but I think it can be fun.

I dislike diamonds... I think there are so many prettier stones to choose from. But earrings can be used to accent different parts of a person's face, depending on everything about the earring.

I don't have my ears pierced, and I'm one of the only girls I've ever met without them. I think earrings on girls have mostly become expected, and in most cases I never notice them. But sometimes, they can bring things together or draw attention.

It all depends on the person and the earring. Of course some giant fucking hoops are going to look dumb but that doesn't mean I'm going to hate them all. I think small gauges generally look good on girls and even some guys. But I generally feel that guys with earrings are douche bags. I find gauges to be disgusting, on both guys and girls. Especially the huge ones. The same thing applies to excessive faceholes. I mean, is it really necessary to have metal hanging off of every inch of your face? The most ridiculous one is the giant hoop right in between the nostrils. I do have my nose pierced, but I don't plan on getting anything else on my face. Earrings are fine, though.
