Does anyone have any idea I saw an old post by someone named lightning rod. He aparently posted them and i guess now theyre gone?? I am only able to find something at "http://offspring.ipshit.com/". But i heard that Lightning Rod Originally posted those songs In listenable Quality 320KBPS i downloaded all the singles from that site and theyre at 128 (Which to me i dont wanna sound like a jerk but completly unlistenable) sounds like it was recorded in a washing machine. Does he still post on thses forums? Does anyone still have his originals the good quality ones im willing to trade... send paypal for them...

Yea those are the ones i had downloaded from that site. I guess Lightning Rod had uploaded them at 128 for some reason i thought that on his post he said his were 320kbps i had the ones your speaking of from that bootleg site, deleted them tho. Hmm i guess i shall have to look elsewhere, cause i cannot listen to music encoded below 192kbps Being a musician and having my own studio Low quality mp3's to me are unlistenable too much compression ruins the high hat and makes cymbals sound like the drummer is hitting a washing machine. And it also cuts out the bass drum so if you listen to these mp3's on like a good stereo with a sub you get no bass response. Its just me being snobby. I actually wanted to remaster them, remove the clicks and pops and re-eq them to sound a little less vinyl-ish. But without a good master cannot be done.

I suppose i can look for original copies of the vinyls, but i dunno how hard that will be.

Yea how dare people want to hear music ripped in good quality. That is dumb. I understand 128 it saves space, but unfortunatly it sounds aweful. And if you want to burn a disc and listen to it on a good sound system your going to be very disapointed. How do people that want their music to be cd quality ruin music? theres absolutly no logic in that
