Good enough to be called "Smash Remastered"?

Hi all,

I was trying to guess how "Smash Remastered" will sound. So I decided to remaster the song "Smash" on my own. Here it goes:

Do you think it's good enough to be called "remastered" (I don't have time to do that better, the whole thing took me a few minutes actually)?

Well, it sounds better, actually, but not better enough to call it "remastered" yet.

Thanks. Well, my 4 main goals were:

- noise reduction;
- bass boost;
- high frequency improvement;
- more "surround" sound.

And I think they all were accomplished in some way.

Smash sounds pretty good, I ran my copy compared to yours and it does sound a lot more clearer.

sounds more like americana now. more bass and stuff, you know. many people may not like it but I do. I always tought that Ignition and americana was the two best mastered album.

In the iTunes the original version sound brighter and better than remastered, actually.
