You may or may not have know that Theoffspring.com is essentially based in Australia.
We have close ties to the band and work in with them closely and we have a request direct from Dexter - he wants you to vote and have a say as to what songs The Offspring play at the Soundwave Festival this month!
You only have a couple of weeks to vote so get into it asap! The results will be compiled and sent to the band - so if there is a song you want to hear live vote now!

Lightning Rod, Session and Million Miles Away
That's a cool idea, even better if they would seriously play the song that gets most voted. Of course, if it's some of their biggest hits it would get normally played too but a song from Self Titled, let's say Out On Patrol, would be something unforeseen and a tough decision to play at festival which I just can't believe at. Wonder what happened to Dexter on the song poll. :p But hey if something really rare gets played I ain't complaining!
PS.
#1 Kick Him When He's Down
#2 Get It Right
#3 Burn It Up
1. Out On Patrol
2. I'll Be Waiting
3. Nothing From Something
If one of these songs gets played, I would really admire Dexter for doing so, but I also think that these songs would do very good at a live gig

3) Change The World

Haha, yeah. Most of the crowd would be so "what?". I could figure not the most energetic song live. For me personally Denial Revisited just might be the most less listened Offspring song.

1) Lightning Rod
2) Dirty Magic
3) Genocide
I was stuck between Dirty Magic and Nothing From Something, and if there was an option to vote for Hammerhead, I would have taken it. :p

Living In Chaos
They played it during the CO1 European tour at some shows and the first North American gigs, so it's probably on some bootleg. Not the best live song of theirs though (like most of their songs that use some sampling aren't that great live).
I voted:
Beheaded
Dirty Magic
Lightning Rod
There is a big chance that they'll play those songs live (cause they sometimes play'm). I really doubt they'll play stuff like Elders or Denial Revisisted though ;).
No point in voting for Self Esteem, Bad Habit, TKAA, ... cause they play those anyway! (rightfully so)

Must vote for Denial, Revisited... I think it'd be such a powerful song live, and I'm going to the Melbourne concert.
Also voted for I'll Be Waiting and Dirty Magic.

Just to let you guys know....
The poll was taken into account - thats how lightning rod got on the set list. However it was removed for Melbourne (and i think the following shows) due to it not being received well in Sydney and Brisbane.
A quick point you may not know - Greg essentially decides what is on the set list.

I can so picture him writing down a few ideas for the setlist, tugging Dexter on the sleeve and pointing repeatedly at his suggestions. Haha

Oh, I voted for a few songs they played...then again, I voted about 30 times in a row. I voted for songs like Spare Me the Details, CGMHAY, Hit That, mostly the popular ones that I voted for they played, for obvious reasons....but I kept re-voting for Pay the Man and Dirty Magic.

Sorry...i was mistaken about Sydney...it didn't go well in Brisbane.
I know this because Greg and Noodles told me when I was talking to them after their show at Soundwave Melbourne.
I actually have a copy of the setlist from their dressing room from that night and Lightning Rod is on it....however it was never played.
