Sorry if someone asked this before, but I wanna know who is singing the lyrics in When Youre un Prison.

Maybe Dexter or Noodles with some effects on their voices?
Someone else?

If memory serves me right, once I read somewhere that it's not Dexter. But I don't remember where and if the source is reliable (I can't recall the name they gave either). Anyway, I think it may be Dexter, not 100% sure though.

Unless his voice is [digitally] modified (and by "modified" I don't mean any processes aiming to make him sound like an old record, which are for example cutting off high frequencies, adding clicks and noise), I'm still being uncertain as to who actually performed the song.

It must be Dexter, because there's only ''backing vocals by Lauren Kinkade'' on the booklet of Splinter... If it was someone else, it will be written there too...

It is Dexter, he's just singing very differently because the song is so different.

Yeah, I think exactly the same way, the booklet doesnt give any information, so it almots sure is an Offspring member singing. But maybe is not Dexter, could be Noodles... I don't think Greg sings.

It's Dexter, he's just singing in a different style and there's some effects on the vocals to make it sound like an old recording.

I said it before, I'll say it again: There are no special credits on When You're in Prison on the Splinter booklet, except for backing vocals, they are done by some Carmen. So it must be Dexter or Noodles. Noone else, but I'll go with Dexter.

tottallty dexter! he's just not shouting in "When You're In Prison" like he does in all the other songs, so it sounds a bit different, but it's deffenetly him, or else it would appear the name of the person on the album, and it's doesn't! Only backups and stuff are make by other people! Dexter's a pro!:p
