Ha not porno like you're thinking dude.

Well strictly speaking 2x120GB and 1x100GB and the 60GB are at home. And the 120GB and 200GB are here in my term home. I guess it's the geek equivalent of saying your cock is longer than it is.

But anyway, I use my computer for everything. I record TV on it which takes up a lot of room and download lots of stuff that I just keep incase I wanna watch it in the future.

" I guess it's the geek equivalent of saying your cock is longer than it is."

ahahaaaha that's brilliant..

and i wasn't even thinking porn, oddly enough.. it's too early in the morning for me to be a perv.
if you record tv on it.. then i understand. videos are ridiculously huge... i recorded a minute long thing the other day on my crapass webcam and it was 500 mb. :/

Na I got a PVR250 hardware MPEGII encoder which records straight to DVD format (thus saving space) so it ain't HUGE but about 1gig/hour.

Use the MJPEG codec or Huffyuv to compress your live recordings if you need to record longer stuff.

I am working on someones computer at the moment, its a pentium 4 1.8Ghz. It runs slower than my 800Mhz Pentium 3.
Its really pissing me off too, because the onboard sound has distorted now, but no one knows what goes on it or anything.
Going to try to figure out hardware or software problem.

As for my hard drive. I only have a 10 Gig hard drive, which is a bit of a pain, because keeping games on here takes up loads of space.

I don't think pentuim 4's are all that great. My family has a pentuim 4 1.2 ghz and it runs heaps slow compared to my pentium 3 600mhz.

I've only got 14gb hard drive so I've pretty much deleted all the games on it to free up more space for mp3s and stuff, also it says it's got a virus on it at the moment and I don't know what it's doing, so I don't wanna use it and my outdated virus software can't get rid of it  I need a new computer.

(is it bad when everytime I start it it says "cannot find sys.reg?" I'm guessing it is :D )

I'm with Vera on this one. Stop geeking it up. Who needs 800gb of space. Nobody can whack off THAT much.

I only have 4gb too. How sad. I really need to upgrade but I won't save up for it until I've saved up for my motorbike.

Terabyte hard drives are available now. you should pick on of them up. Although there's no way in hell you'd ever need as much.

When you have a lot of storage, everything just downloads itself onto your computer almost automaticly. At high quality too. I no longer download vcds, svcds or screeners. Nop. Only DVD rips, and at 4.7gigs per movie there is only so much you can fit.

No I ain't that rich. I've assembled these babies over years.

Plus I could easily use up that space fucker.

My computer sucks, it's just full of hard-drives.

Yeah but I know plenty about window's fucking up and the hard drive crashing and you losing all your files if you didn't back them up.

Since you've got many and they're just storage, fine goddamn I am wrong about this one, you cant lose that shit. Unless I take a hammer to it.
