Why is Japan getting more tour dates then America or anywhere else?

In 2007 Offspring went to japan and played a bunch of shows for a week and half. And the offspring is going back in October for the whole month.
I know this is petty jealousy especially since i just saw them at the weenie roast and in santa barbara, but i cant help it. I want to see them again and again and again.

huh? wtf? more money in less wallets. The o.c. is one of th wealthies t counties in the US and if California became its own country; it would be the 6th richest country in the world?

actually considerd flyin to japan just to see Offspring ;o
live in Norway so a bit expensive, but hell yeah, its worth it!!

Offspring has a huge number of fans in Japan, its ridiculous. As for CD releases, most artists release Japan first and usually with a bonus track not released in other countries, because in Japan CDs are more expensive and the number of people who buy CDs rather than download is Japan is high. However, if you wait for the imported version of the cds from the US or UK in Japan they're cheaper then the Japanese ones, so thats one of the reasons the Japanese ones are released first. strange, but true
