Any suggestions? IMO, The Offspring should do a like U.S. tour with a band together like they did the past, especially when they were supporting Smash, Ixnay and some of their later releases.

In my opinion, I'd say they should tour with one of these bands/artists:
Big Drill Car (if they plan to stay reunited fulltime)
Bad Religion (now that would be a killer tour)
Rise Against
Rancid
Flobots
Pennywise
Social Distortion
NOFX
Weezer
AC/DC
Metallica
Rage Against the Machine (if they plan to stay reunited fulltime as well)
Snoop Dogg (although he's touring 311)
Pepper
Afroman
Matisyahu
Jack Johnson
Down (a project of former Pantera singer Phil Anselmo)

Lucky Boys Confusion, Rise Against, The Offspring... If that ever happens, I'll probably have a heartattack.

Or maybe they should take any band we've never heard of before on tour.

The Flobots would be pretty sweet.

There are a lot of bands that would make a great concert, but most of them are too big. I definitely agree that they'll probably take a band from Nitro.

The Flobots would be pretty sweet.

Sure would. They've playing with The Offspring randomly this year. They were both part of this year's KROQ Weenie Roast this past May, then again at KJEE Summer Round Up at Santa Barbara Bowl and again this September at Bumbershoot at Seattle Center. An Offspring and Flobots tour together would be fuckin' fun. Since they've been playing together, I always thought the Flobots could be influenced by The Offspring.

I got another idea. I think The Offspring should join the Family Values Tour 2009 with KOЯN. I know that's probably never going to happen, but damn that would be a killer tour.

You recommened those two just because they've been on Epitaph like The Offspring?

No. Because they are my other two most favorite bands and I have not seen either of them live.

And Pennywise, Bad Religion and meaby NOFX.

And Rancid too. If The Offspring, Pennywise, Bad Religion, Rancid and NOFX were to tour or play some live shows all together, that would be the killer reunion of the 1994 punk scene.

I'm with the rest of the world that Social Distortion is a good option.

I mean, they're certain to announce within the next few days a 200 person club-show in Manchester like they did that time in my fantasy, right?

Definitely Rise Against. Those guys are just as intelligent, hilarious, and down-to-earth as The Offspring. I could see Tim and Dexter being good buds.

Rise Against and Offspring would definately make for a great show. As for them playing with the likes of rancid, nofx, bad religion, guttermouth, or pennywise it probably wont happen unless its a festival. Some bands to think about though:

Only Crime
Strike Anywhere
Pistol Grip
H2O
Hazen St. (if they are still playing)
Lagwagon
Ignite

I THINK RISE AGAINST IS AN EVOLUTION OF THE OFFSPRING. THIS IS WHERE THE SOUND THEY CREATED HAS GONE. SURE THE ROOTS ARE PUNK. BUT THINK ABOUT THE EVOLUTION OF SOUND. GOING TO THE ROOTS OF PUNK IS LIKE GOING BACK TO PAST PRESIDENTS. PAST IS PAST. I THINK THESE GUYS SHOULD TAKE THE OFFSPRING THRONE! NOT SAYING DEX, NOODLES AND CO SHOULD HANG IT UP...(YOU ALL SHOULD MOS DEF KEEP ON KEEPING ON!!!! IM WITH YOU TIL DEATH..YOU GUYS ARE A BIG PART OF MY LIFE!!!) BUT THINGS CHANGE. WE GET OLDER....WHO BETTER TO TAKE OVER? RISE AGAINST ARE AN EVOLUTION. TAKE SOMETHING THAT IS UNDENIABLE AND BUILD UPON IT!! punk always has a message that doesn't sugar-coat anything. The Offspring had that but appealed to the masses where many other punk bands could not reach the masses.....they have....and somewhere the offspring became routine (tho i still can relate to them every day). Rise Against is the next step. The punk roots are unaltered by corporate influence......
