I apoligise in advance if this has been posted somewhere else, but I'm curious to know why OS isn't going to be touring Canada at all? Been a fan for over 5 years. Kinda (well not kinda, really) upset as there's tons of fans here and I know I would LOVE if they came here. A lot of Europe touring and not much in the USA and NONE in Canada. :(

In an interview with Rej Laplanche of MusiquePlus (Montreal) before the album release, they said they thought they would come in autumn, but that it was too soon to be official.

No, unfortunately not. I was too busy (pregnant and had my oldest in 2005.) But I'm done having my 2 daughters now and I'm ready to see them... lol. I'm actually in Guelph and I highly doubt they'd go to Hamilton (Copps) or anything closer to me.

Anyone hear anything yet about them coming back to Toronto? :D

Hum' in august-september they don't seem to have a lot of concert's dates. Maybe...!:D

I don't know if it's just me, but it seems like they're spending a lot of time in Japan? But yet not 1 tour date anywhere in Canada.

I'm actually quite surprised by that. BC is a beautiful province (so I've been told.)

They should really come to Calgary because i am a huge fan and i want to see them, either Calgary or Edmonton, or even Vancouver! And last time i checked i thought they were doing a world tour, not a "World tour" oh accept Canada...because really, i am sure they will come to Canada.

Awesome... Guelph representin'!

They'll pretty much for sure play Toronto and Montreal and Vancouver, it's just a matter of when. Be patient!

I would hate it if they came to Victoria... but only played a club show. Cause I'm under age. But if they do, they'll probably play the arena. I hate the concerts there. The curling club shows are where its at. I saw Social Distortion there, AND I got to go on stage

They wouldn't play a club show cause there are no clubs that are big enough. Seriously, don't get your hopes up though.

I saw Social D. at the Curling Club too, my third time. But I've raved about Mike Ness enough...

Yeah, Im also prepared to make a trip to Vancouver for a show though. I dont know who would go with me across (probably get a friend to)
I picked up Mike Ness's guitar pick as I walked off the stage. I really wish I knew what happened to it. It was in my room, but one day it dissapeared. I was so pissed.

He he same for me, I mean I'm a relatively new fan and music addict. The number of times they come is pretty rare, so we just can't miss'em again. I think that they might be able to make a canadian tour in... maybe 2 weeks, with some breaks, because the road is long beetween Victoria and St-Johns'!:D

I think they need to do 2 tour dates in Toronto... well they could always swing by Guelph if they'd like. It's a pretty nice city. ;) :p

He he if they make 2 at Toronto they've gotta make 1 in Qc City:D

Or maybe one Toronto date, and the second one in... Hamilton? But hey, 100km from Toronto, on the highway, it'll take you about 1h30 from Guelph City:rolleyes:

Haha, yeah another one in Hamilton would be sweet. I have a big house if they need a place to crash for the night too. And I won't even charge them to stay... hehehe. ;)

The band has left a lot of August and September open, so I’m hoping for a couple Canadian dates there. If not, they’ll drop by sometime before Christmas, probably November.

Woah you're sure you want an after-party there with these guys? You know how The Offspring can rock a 50 000 places stadium...! (But I never heard about their afters...);):D I hope you're far from the fans and groupies:rolleyes:
Personnally, I can't imagine receiving a band at home after a show, it would be too cool, even if I'm living pretty far from the neighbors and civilisation... XD

Nah, I'm not worried. If I get kicked out, then it's worth it.. :p We can always move somewhere else, but we'll never get another chance again to meet the guys. ;) :D

I'm more scared for the house than for you ^^. I think everybody (fans)who'd be there would love you to accept them on your property. You'd be respected like a God! And probably most of them are civilised, but the 5%'s remaining, drunk or stoned like hell... XD
But I think I'm getting pretty far from the thread now, ain't I ?:p. But hey, dreams are one of the rare free things in this world ! = )

LOL.. so true. I have a nice yard that would be perfect for a small concert. Yeah, it's a dream and you're right they're free. :p Oh well, apparently they're suppose to be heading this way at the end of this year. So maybe we'll see each other if they come to Toronto. I'd think they'd go to Montreal, but who am I to guess?! :)

An outdoor show either on the Plains of Abraham or at the Agora would simply be wonderful! Following on the path of Sir Paul McCartney and Céline Dion on the plains for the city's 400th anniversary would feel soooo good! :D

Woah Sooo Right ! It'd just rock the whole city!
But I'm not sure if it'be a good idea on the plains, even if it'be awesome ! The concept is good, but I'm not sure if it'be possible. Because, eventhough The Offspring are well known, I don't think they'd get the same public as Celine Dion or Sir McCartney. I mean, I think they wouldn't be able to fulfill the plains with masses of dozens of hundreds of persons like those two before did, even with the tourists. (and I don't know why they'd like to play for the 400th:( ).Maybe delimit a certain perimiter of the plains? Why not:D?
But you're right, if the Colisée isn't big enough, it HAS to be on the plains:p
