Latin America that is.
The US lost diplomatic ties with two countries in its direct zone of influence today. That's got to be a record. This is pretty serious this time, I think. Protests, coup attempts, assasination plots, dead people, pitiyankees, oil, ambassadors kicked out, CIA covert-ops, a regular Tom Clancy novel alright.
Chavez is pissed off like I've never seen him, he even cursed on a national chain (that's a mandatory radio-t.v. presidential address) and told the North-Americans to go fuck themselves.
Meanwhile, further south, Evo was fighting off a bunch of US-ass-kissing protesters trying to act like freedom fighters resulting in eight people dead.
The US is not paying enough attention to Latin America. They might lose this region too and simply reactivating the 4th Fleet is not going to cut it. My advise for them would be subtleness and pragmatism. I would definitely not want to be the next president of that country.
