It seems like whenerver the Offspring come home, there is some major drama going on. Last time they came home CA had a high speed chase. This time most of the surrounding lands are in flames.
Yeah, i am starting to think that the offspring should stay home and make the fans come to them.
Welcome home boys, I missed u a lot!!!! xoxoxox

There are always fires in CA and your houses are made of paper so... it must be terrible.

I'm just glad the fires aren't in orange county directly this year...
last year was hell...
sympathies to everyone who is affected by this... I myself have two friends from Montecito... they were both very nervous about it all (and I only have heard from one since that his house was ok... haven't heard from the other)

why do people that live where fires like that are common?
its like people that live in places prone to flooding.
why!?!?

Probably so they don't have to move to somewhere boring like Scotland.

They aren't That common. There has been a drought in California the past few years thus causing the problems. For the most part in California the wildfires are in the deep forest. Otherwise, for example, the sky is perfectly clear here. So why do people live here?
How about because its November and it was 84 degrees today :) (admittedly a little too high but last week pre-fire, still in the 60s and sunny)

except when they crumble in like two seconds the minute there is any sort of earthquake (which aren't that often if you want to talk about things where disasters are common)

Agreed.
I live in one of the areas in southern Arizona where the houses aren't made of drywall and plywood.

also, if its any further help in the argument that california is awesome, they determined that the big fire in santa barbara was not a "wildfire" and police are now looking for a suspect.
I will admit by the way that brick houses Look nicer but again, I'd much prefer my house look nice and last an earthquake than look even better but need a tornado shelter for every year...
plus, did i mention the awesome weather? :)
