I know I'm a little behind on this. But they got this asshole to replace a legend like Bob? He's fuckin terrible.

I actually thought he wasn't that bad. If they were going to continue the show, he was probably the right choice. I've always enjoyed his t.v. show and thought whenever he hosted something, he was great.

You really are behind.

I think the amusing thing is that he seems really condescending to every contestant.

He is not the right choice. Any freindly old guy would be better. Mr Oreck, the vacuum salesman for Oreck vacuums was a better choice. If you're gonna pick someone younger, atleast make them entertaining. Like uh, Gary Busey would spice things up a little.

And the Drew Carey show sucked. What was with that really fat chick with the whored up makeup? Its like she was the only actress auditioning that wasn't outta Drew's league.

This is very true. I used to like the drew carey show, but he always dated girls who were wayyyyy too hot for him, and it drove me nuts.

If I were a hot chick, I'd totally date him.

I think that's the problem with most sitcoms today, except in a lot of cases the main character's married.

He is truly awful.

Disgraceful, even. Someone got a PERFECT FUCKING BID in the Showcase Showdown...a feat which is just...unthinkable...and check out his announcement:

Jeez. Complete lack of enthusiasm. Bob knew how to do subtle things, like reach for a card and then pull his hand away at the last moment, say something on the mic and build suspense that way. Drew just killed that moment, which like you said, never happens.

I'm not sure how that's disgraceful... that's the first time I've ever seen price is right without Bob Barker, though, and I don't think I could handle it. He just seems really boring and unenthusiastic.

edit: orange is right. And I get it more from Al's post.

I haven't watched the price is right in years, even the last couple Bob Barker seasons.

That said, the first few seasons of the Drew Carey Show are pretty good.

I like Drew. I also liked his show/s. Used to watch "Whose Line Is It Anyway" all the time. Ryan Styles was a hoot.

I liked the Drew Carey show at the time (though mostly because I liked Lewis and Oswald) but I always hated him as host of Whose Line is it Anyway. I can't imagine him doing the Price is Right well at all but I haven't seen him in action yet.

Same here.

As a person/host, he seems pretty bitter and unhappy, and he's not good at acting excited or like he's having fun.

I always got a different vibe from Whose Line. He seemed to me to always be having a blast and he was pretty decent at improv.

I was pulling for him as the Price is Right host, but it's just not working out as I see it. Wasn't Rosie O'Donnell up for that gig, too?

This is going to make me explode in the fucking head. The number combinations are practically unlimited, and the chances of that happening are astronomical. Ben Stein could've been more enthusiastic. Stephen Hawking could've been more fucking enthusiastic.

That guy had to have been psychic...or just one lucky motherfucker!

And yea! Drew could have been WAY more ecstatic about it.

I reckon he's great on Whose Line Is It Anyways?, besides Scrubs its my favourite show on TV, he always makes fun / gets made fun of on that and it's hilarious, I like Drew Carey.
Best Whose Line line-up: Wayne Brady, Collin Mockery, Ryan Styles and Greg (the one with the glasses).

The really shocking thing here is that so many of you watch this.

I thought the only people who watched stuff like that did so because it was better than waiting for their grandchildren to visit and/or praying that death comes soon.

Ben Stein could've been more enthusiastic. Stephen Hawking could've been more fucking enthusiastic.

Yes, but they both have more reasons to be happy than Drew Carey. Even if it's just that they aren't Drew Carey. Have some pity for the guy. If I was Drew Carey the only time I would get enthusiastic is when wondering if that odd sensation in my chest was heartburn or the impending release from a worthless existence.
